Discover Normandy

These are simply the places we love going to. The roads we often take for no particular reason. The markets where we do our shopping. The villages we take our friends to when they visit. The views that still make us stop, even after years of living here.

From Le Clos du Haut, Normandy is wonderfully easy to explore. The coast is fifteen minutes away. Honfleur, Trouville, the villages of the Pays d’Auge, local markets, the cliffs of Étretat, the D-Day beaches and even Mont-Saint-Michel can all be visited in a day.

And sometimes the best plan is to do nothing at all. Stay at the cottage, open a bottle of cider, watch the cows on the hills and let the afternoon drift by.

We have gathered here the places we most often recommend to our guests: the great classics, a few lesser-known detours, and above all the places we return to with the same pleasure every time.
